How to Resize, Compress & Upload Images Perfectly for Kajabi

I am Jaimee from Website Restyle, and this is another Kajabi tip tutorial.

So what I'm going to show you today is how to resize your images to fit into Kajabi.

For this video I am in my settings page, but this applies to any image throughout a Kajabi website.

If you upload an image and you can see that the image is too small or too big, then it must be resized. One of the great things about Kajabi is they actually give you the recommended dimensions of each photo on all your pages - making it so much easier to create beautiful images that will fit your page and not distort or stretch when you are viewing the live site.

The first thing to do is to take note of those dimensions.

Then head to Canva (I use Canva Pro for all of my website graphics). Here and you need to design an image using the recommended sizes, after that it needs to be downloaded, compressed and uploaded again BEFORE it is uploaded into your website. Slow website loading time can be directly related to videos and images that are too large and so take time to download when you click on a website - major turnoff for potential customers!

1. In Canva, the first thing you need to do is click on create a design in the top right hand corner.

2. Scroll down to the bottom and click on 'custom size' because we've been given the size from Kajabi and we're going to type in the custom size of the image that we want. For this example it was 1280 x 720pixels.

3. Click 'create new design'.

Now you'll see an empty template ready for us to add our branding. of course you can use any of the  Canva templates, or you can just go ahead and create your own.

4. Design your Image

Now we need to download it.

5. Name the image

6. Go to top right hand corner and click download.

7. Select the image you want to download, click 'download'.

8. Save it a folder in your computer where you can easily access it.

9. Go to compressor.io and upload the image that you just created and saved.

10. Click 'Download.

11. Save image to the same folder replacing the larger image

It is now ready to go. So now we're going to head back to our Kajabi page and we're going to add that new image.

12. Click upload new file

13. Choose new file

14. You can crop the image at this point but you should now see that image fits perfectly inside the box and no cropping is necessary.

15. & There it is! A perfectly, resized, compressed image uploaded into your Kajabi site.

I hope this has been helpful. Leave any comments or ask any questions if you have any, and I'll see you in the next tutorial.

Wishing you all the Kajabi success in the world!!!
